Do you think Stockholm could be a more fun of a city? Would you like to transform your neighborhood? This sounds challenging? The good thing is that you don’t need to be engaged in politics to make things happen.
Small bottom-up initiatives, such as food trucks, urban gardens and street art could create public spaces and improve communication and social inclusion in cities. During this Urban Forum we learnt a lot about everyday urbanism, what it is actually about and how it could help our cities.
You also got an inspirational boost from several real-life projects in Stockholm: Under Konstruktion in Nacka, Cyklopen and trädgård på spåret. The day was concluded by short movies from New Urbanism Film Festival, showcasing how people all over the world are changing their cities.
